Compared with standard NBR O-rings, HNBR O-rings 70A offer superior performance in demanding environments involving high temperatures, oils, fuels, and aggressive media. These O-rings are commonly supplied in AS568 O ring standard sizes, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of sealing grooves and industrial equipment.
HNBR combines good oil resistance to fuels, lubricating oils, and aromatic hydrocarbons with excellent resistance to heat, ozone, and many chemicals. The material also features low compression set, high tensile strength, good tear resistance, and excellent abrasion resistance, making it one of the most well-balanced elastomers for critical sealing applications.
