These HNBR O-rings 90A are AED-resistant (Anti-Explosive Decompression) and suitable for applications exposed to rapid pressure changes, gas permeation, and high-pressure environments. The material effectively reduces internal gas blistering and cracking, making it a reliable sealing solution for oil & gas, energy, and demanding industrial systems.
Positioned between NBR, EPDM, and FKM in overall performance, HNBR fills the gap where higher temperature capability, improved tensile strength, and explosive decompression resistance are required, without the higher cost of fluoroelastomers.
