The pre-compression of S8 Rod Seal sealing lip ensures reliable low-pressure sealing performance at low pressure,as system pressure increases, the rubber energizing element applies additional force to the U-shaped ring, expanding the contact surface and enhancing the sealing effect. The fabric part provides excellent strength and durability, protecting the rubber part while maintaining a thin oil film for low friction and reduced wear — ideal for high-performance hydraulic and pneumatic applications.

Installation Profile
Extrusion Gap: The extrusion gap on the non-pressure side during seal operation plays a key role in overall sealing performance. If the gap size exceeds the recommended value shown in the table below, it will be required to install a plastic retaining ring behind the seal to prevent extrusion and ensure long-term reliability in hydraulic applications.
