Design Tips
For reliable performance, the seal must operate within the maximum gap dimensions shown in the table. If the gap on the non-pressure side is larger than the recommended values, a full-surface plastic back-up ring should be added behind the seal. This prevents extrusion and ensures long-term sealing efficiency.
